I found some of my favorite weeds today. Love the colors.
Kaylen and I went to Claude Lipsomb's farm to see his Black and Blue Quarter Horses and longhorns. His father, Mr. Ira, loved longhorns and always had them. I can't say I've ever seen any others in the South. I've only seen longhorns in Texas.
They have to have really strong necks to handle that load of horns.
This is Claude's handsome stallion. He came runnung up to the fence and took my breath away. I think he was longingly looking at the mares on the other side. I don't know a thing about horses, but isn't he the prettiest?

The flowers are stunning, such a pretty colour.Kaylen looks great and then of course those horns.Oh my goodness.I would give an animal like that a lot of room, large animals make me nervous.
Kaylen is precious in her butterfly shirt...I am sure she enjoyed visiting all the animals...
The horns are scary but what is totally beautiful and of course got my attention is the black stallion....He is gorgeous.....
Gorgeous weeds...have never seen any like that!
Those weeds are just beautiful! I wish I knew the name of them. The horse is gorgeous! Love your pictures.:)
Oh my goodness, those horns are enormous!
Beautiful images, Laura.
Hi Laura,
These are all such wonderful shots. I can't believe the size of those horns. And I must say those are the most beautiful weeds I have ever seen. And what a great shot of that little one. She is a cutie pie for sure.
Hugs~
