Can you believe it? The saucer magnolias are blooming already! They usually bloom during late February and early March, but with the warm weather, they're blooming now. It was 78 degrees today and warm enough to pull out summer clothes. This doesn't bode well for spring, especially if the colder weather finally comes in February or March.
Want to know what I cooked today? Collard greens. Check out What's for Supper?

Beautiful! I love this color. The weather is crazy everywhere. I have some tulips that are sprouting! The bulbs are in the house...not planted....crazy!
I forgot....I have a question. a few posts back, you said you use picnik and something else. What is the other one? Is it as easy as Picnik? Did you see where they are closing? Now I am under the gun to learn Lightroom. (gasp).
Wow - magnificent magnolia !! Enjoy them while you can, Laura, and may the temps stay warm. Have a wonderful Sunday.
Wow that is beautiful, it feels so absurd to see that. We have so much snow and there start blooming:)

I've been seeing the Jane Magnolias blooming around here. This sure is beautiful! Love the tiny dew drops on the petals and the shades of pink are gorgeous!
Fantastica foto, una bella macro e un colore delicato. Complimenti, ciao Cri : )
i know, our azaleas are beginning to bloom, and they aren't supposed to bloom until the end of february, at the earliest. (and here in florida the hot and humid summers feel SO much longer when winter has been this warm :(
gorgeous shot of the dewdrops on this bloom, though. and i've never heard of a saucer magnolia. are they blooming trees? (we have a large magnolia tree in our back garden.)
Amazing macro and a beautiful color. Great picture.
A BEAUTIFUl shot and a lovely color..... i like this very much.
Greetings, Joop
It's that way here, too. I'm a little worried about our fruit trees. Beautiful image...love those dew drops lined up on the petals.
WOW!! What a gorgeous shot.. The weather has been so warm this year. I hope that doesn't mean we are in for a really HOT summer!!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Hugs, Linda
The photo is lovely...such soft colors. The thing that scares me is the fact that we may not really have a winter and summer will come on us with a vengeance and be a repeat of last year. Its enough to make me want to cry!
Hope you are having a peaceful and restful sunday.
Love
